At Levy Australia, we've always believed that the best teams reflect the communities they serve. That's why we're proud to partner with SisterWorks Inc., a remarkable not-for-profit social enterprise empowering women from migrant, refugee and asylum-seeker backgrounds to achieve economic independence through real employment pathways, mentorship and community.

Who are SisterWorks?

Founded in Melbourne in 2013, SisterWorks has supported more than 2,500 women from over 105 countries to build a new life in Australia through skills training, mentorship and meaningful work. Their core Employment Pathways Program gives women industry-specific training, job-ready skills and one-on-one support to help them find and hold sustainable employment. The women in the program bring with them a wealth of experience, resilience and talent that is too often overlooked.

Our partnership

For Levy Australia, partnering with SisterWorks isn't a tick in a box. It reflects something we genuinely believe: diverse workplaces are stronger workplaces. The people who show up to work at our venues bring their whole selves, their stories, their skills and their drive, and that is what makes the experience memorable for our guests.

This year at the Australian Open, we were thrilled to welcome 9 new Sisters to our team, alongside 11 returning Sisters who came back for another year. Together, they played an active part in delivering hospitality across Melbourne Park to over a million fans during one of the world's biggest sporting events.

What shared value looks like

This collaboration is proof that creating employment opportunities and delivering exceptional hospitality are not competing priorities. They go hand in hand. When we invest in people who are ready, willing and skilled, and simply need the right door opened, everyone benefits: our guests receive genuine, motivated hospitality and our Sisters gain real, resume-building experience at a world-class venue.

This is what shared value looks like in practice, creating opportunities, building inclusive workforces, and delivering real social and economic impact for the communities we are part of.
